TRUST AT JOBZA

A public beta,
built with care.

Jobza is open as a public beta in Gauteng while we strengthen the experience, review process and safeguards needed for commercial launch.

TRUST & SAFETY

Clear signals, sensible limits.

How jobs are reviewed

Employers can submit opportunities during the beta. A Jobza owner reviews a listing before it can receive a Jobza Verified marker. Listings without that marker should be treated as unverified.

What verification means

A marker describes only the specific check shown at that time. It is not a guarantee of a job, an employer's future conduct or a candidate's suitability. Always check the role, company, pay and working conditions yourself.

Profile completeness is not a verdict

A readiness or completeness score reflects information added to a Jobza profile. It is not a credit score, background check, professional licence or hiring decision, and employers should not use it as the only basis for a decision.

Safer job searching

Never pay to apply for a job or share passwords, PINs or one-time codes. Confirm unexpected messages through an organisation's official channel, read the terms carefully and stop if an offer creates pressure to act immediately.

PRIVACY & POPIA

Use only what the beta needs.

Information used in the beta

Candidate profiles may include contact details, city, preferred work, availability, skills, experience and application activity. Employer accounts include account details and the job information they submit. This information is used to operate and improve the beta.

Share carefully

Do not place identity-document numbers, banking details, passwords or other highly sensitive information in open text fields. Employers should access candidate information only for genuine recruitment activity.

Our current privacy approach

We aim to apply data-minimisation, purpose-limitation and reasonable-security principles consistent with POPIA while the beta is developed. This summary is not a claim of legal certification or a substitute for a complete statutory privacy notice.

Your privacy choices

Read the current privacy notice and use its protected form to request access, correction, deletion or objection. Identity checks may be required before Jobza acts on a request.

BETA TERMS

Use Jobza honestly and respectfully.

For everyone

Provide accurate information, use the service lawfully and respect other participants. Beta features and eligibility may change, pause or end, and Jobza does not promise that a listing will remain available or lead to employment.

For employers

Post genuine roles with clear duties, location, schedule and pay basis. Do not request application fees, publish misleading or discriminatory requirements, misuse candidate information or imply Jobza verification before it is granted.

Moderation

Jobza may review, withhold, edit the status of or archive beta content and accounts when information appears unsafe, misleading or outside the beta's purpose. Verification may be reconsidered when material information changes.
