- 01Never pay recruitment or placement fees.A request for payment is a serious warning sign. Stop and verify independently.
- 02Find the employer's official website yourself.Do not rely on a link supplied in the message or advert.
- 03Match the vacancy details.Check the title, reference, location and closing date on the official careers page.
- 04Confirm the recruiter independently.Use a company phone number or email address you found on the official website.
- 05Protect credentials and documents.Never share passwords, banking credentials, PINs or one-time codes. Share only necessary documents after verification.
- 06Pause when pressured.Urgency is a reason to stop and verify; it is not proof of fraud by itself.
