A job title alone cannot tell you whether an opportunity is workable. Before applying, compare the pay basis, expected shifts and real travel requirements side by side.

Start with pay. Confirm whether the amount is hourly, daily, weekly or monthly, and whether it is stated before or after deductions. Do not calculate a take-home amount from incomplete information; ask the employer for the terms that matter to your decision.

Next, write down the normal start and finish times, weekend expectations and whether shifts rotate. Compare those hours with your current responsibilities and the transport available at the beginning and end of each shift.

Finally, estimate travel time and cost for a normal working week. Keep estimates separate from confirmed facts, and verify the location before committing. This short comparison helps you focus applications on roles you could realistically accept.
